2010 The Year of Forgiveness
During the coming year, we will look at forgiveness from three Perspectives:
• Our need for God's forgiveness
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
(Romans 3.23)
• Our need to forgive others
For if you forgive men of their trespasses,
your heavenly father will also forgive you.
(Matthew 6.14-15)
• Our need to forgive ourselves
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance,
that Christ Jesus came in to the world to save sinners,
of whom I am chief.
However, for this reason I obtain mercy,
that in me first Jesus Christ might show all long suffering,
as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him
for everlasting life.
