Hello, my name is Cannon Whitby and I am Deacon over Special Activities. The purpose of the Special Activities Ministry is to coordinate major congregational fellowship events. Having well-planned and executed fellowships is vital to the life of the church. They help PTC members grow closer by spending time together and getting to know each other on a deeper level. They also bond believers by building precious memories of joyful times in each other's company.
I have a beautiful wife, Shari, and two great kids, Madison Claire, age 12, and Cannon Blake, age 10. We moved to Peachtree City in June of 2004 from Little Rock, Arkansas. Before that we spent six years in Ocoee, Florida.
Upon moving to Peachtree City, we knew immediately that Peachtree City Church of Christ was going to be our home congregation. The first thing we noticed was the closeness of the congregation and how warmly they greeted our family on our first visit. The congregation made our decision a quick and easy one.
The Peachtree City Church of Christ is our family. Our prayer is that our family keeps growing in faith and number with people like you.
