Our Minister
Our preacher, Aubrey Johnson, began his eleventh year with us on August 1, 2009. Aubrey is a speech graduate of Lipscomb University where he also received Masters degrees before completing his Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership through Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the author of five books (see below) and a popular speaker for leadership seminars and other special events. Aubrey and his wife, Lisa, have three sons. Buddy is Pulpit Minister for the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Cookeville, Tennessee. He and his wife Angela have two children: a son, Luke, and a daughter, Abby. Matt is a songwriter and entertainer. He and his wife Kathi make their home in Florence, Alabama. Will is a First Lieutenant in the United States Army. He and his wife, Kristen, who is also a First Lieutenant in the Army, will be stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington, State.
