Thanks again to Frank Deal, Steve Peterson, Keith Ellis, Brian Boyd, Rodney Rich, and Al Roberts for all their help to start the construction of our new toddler playground area. These men helped to have the area cleared of trees, get our initial drainage is in place, and the swing bars set.
What's been completed in 2009:
1)Tie on additional drainage pipe to move water further from the playground to keep it from pooling after heavy rains
2)Install "A-frame" bracing on each swing bar to make each unit stronger (side to side)
3)Enclose the toddler area by matching existing green fencing from our original playground
4)Add onto existing curb to direct water runoff to the new drainage field
5)Add mulch to the toddler playground to even out the walking surface
6)Install actual swings for parents and children to enjoy
