Our Youth Group goes through a seven year curriculum plan that is set up to help them develop into Christian leaders. Our desire is to prepare them as they grow to have a foundation in the Word. This is not just a knowledge of the text but understanding it, in a way that results in practical application in their lives. Stress the same kind of importance in your children's spiritual education as is placed on their secular education.

SWAG

Support for your children. It is important to realize the purpose of a youth ministry. The responsibility for the growth of the child spiritually lies on the parents. They will be set up with numerous opportunities for growth while they are in the youth group. Being involved has to be stressed as a priority in the home.

Work is what it will take to make this youth program a success. This growth will not come without putting in the work. Work on developing the mindset of a servant through group and individual service activities. Work on becoming mission minded through mission trips and individual outreach to your friends. Work on your personal growth through daily Bible study and prayer.

Always put God first. Being a Christian always is one of the biggest challenges that is faced by teenagers. It is easier to be a Christian when you are constantly surrounded by other Christians. We know that our teenagers are not surrounded by others who put Christ first constantly. Through the youth group they can gain the confidence, faith, and leadership skills to always be a Christian by truly understanding the big picture.

Growth will happen! Our goal as a youth group is growth. When you combine the support from the home with participation in the plan, spiritual growth will be inevitable. With spiritual growth will come our second goal of numerical growth. As the commitment to grow personally grows, so will the commitment to reach out to friends and family members.

Swag is an attitude; a way one carries himself. It's a confidence in who you are and the things you represent. When someone has swag, you see that confidence and presence in everything they do.In the Peachtree City youth group our goal is for your kids to develop the "Christian Swag".In your teenage years you seek confidence from some area in your life. This confidence more times than not is found in things that can leave as quickly as they came.If these basic principles are lived, there will be a real confidence that will not leave.
